Things are really starting to come together on the pitch for Tottenham after a disjointed start to the season, and two stats from their 2-0 win over Crystal Palace encapsulate the progress under Roberto De Zerbi.
Spurs spent big in the summer as they made wholesale changes to the squad, and they came in for some big criticism after their poor start to the season.
De Zerbi even confessed earlier in the season that Tottenham are not a team and are still playing like a bunch of individuals. However, that has evidently changed, with the players now seemingly starting to understand each other’s games better, and the results have turned around completely.
