Did You A Favour – SD Issues Message To Club Over Leeds United Deal

Carl Recine/Getty Images Sassuolo sporting director Francesco Palmieri has reflected on the ‘big deal’ to sell Tarik Muharemovic to Leeds United , also telling Juventus his side did the Bianconeri a favour with the transfer.

In an attempt to keep their defensive depth intact following the departure of Pascal Struijk for Brighton & Hove Albion, the Whites spent €34m to sign Muharemovic from Sassuolo.

Juventus were considering signing Muharemovic, who they held a 50 per cent sell-on clause on, but ultimately passed on using it to secure a big discount and he joined Leeds.
