Leading members of the attacking ranks at Barcelona and Real Madrid have been nominated for high-profile individual awards this week. This comes owing to their respective efforts across the month of October.
Fresh off being pipped to glory at the Ballon d’Or ceremony by Bayern Munich hitman Harry Kane, both Lamine Yamal and Kylian Mbappé are up for two La Liga prizes.
The first comes in the form of the Spanish top-flight’s Player of the Month. Barca prodigy Lamine managed a trio of direct goal contributions in three appearances this month.
