The story in brief

From the source
Tottenham Hotspur are on the up now after a disastrous start to the season. With back-to-back wins over Coventry City and Chelsea, respectively, Roberto De Zerbi’s side have got the momentum and confidence back.
Yet, Spurs’ offensive cohesion remains severely lacking despite heavy summer spending. Barring flashes of brilliance, Savio and Omar Marmoush haven’t provided the clinical edge required in key moments in games, while Dominic Solanke continues to blow hot and cold.
There remain genuine concerns from the fans regarding the lack of goals from Tottenham’s forward unit. The Lilywhites were determined to bolster their attack by bringing in additional reinforcements during the business end of the summer transfer window.
