The story in brief

28-second read

By: Ben Dixon This evening, AC Milan have confirmed that Alexis Saelemaekers’ surgery has been completed successfully in the Netherlands. The international break was largely positive for Milan.

Their internationals performed well for the most part and Ruben Amorim was given the chance to work with a few members of his squad that he’d not had much chance to work with before.

However, there was one cloud on that: Saelemaekers’ injury. Indeed, the Belgian’s ankle was reported to be sprained before becoming something much worse, opening him to a few months of recovery, rather than a few days or even weeks.
