Napoli want to lure away a Tottenham Hotspur forward who has turned around his form after a poor start to the season. Several Spurs players have managed to deliver over the last few weeks after struggling in their first few games of the season, and that is not just summer signings like Jan Paul van Hecke and Sandro Tonali.
Mathys Tel came in for major criticism in the early part of the campaign, but the Frenchman has shown in his last two performances how effective he can be when he is at his best.
The 21-year-old delivered what was arguably his best performance in a Spurs shirt in their 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge two weeks ago, scoring a brilliant solo effort after carrying the ball more than half the length of the pitch.
