The story in brief
26-second readBy: Oliver Fisher Goncalo Inacio might not have responded with words to a question about the AC Milan links, but his face may have told a story.
Inacio was the subject of a €40m bid from Milan towards the end of the summer window, multiple sources have claimed, but Sporting CP’s inability to find a replacement at short notice put the deal on ice for at least a few months.
