The story in brief
35-second readLiverpool are about to sign their next Luis Suarez, and he's an incredible player. The Uruguayan was a controversial figure in the Premier League. But among supporters at Anfield, Suarez was simply a hero.He came at a time when Liverpool were probably going through their most unsuccessful period in their history.
Suarez instilled hope and belief during that period. He made an average manager like Brendan Rodgers seem like one of the best young managers in the league at the time.He also gave Liverpool fans a renewed sense of optimism and belief.
He made us feel like we belonged back to the top once again.Suarez may not have won many major trophies, just the League Cup. However, he was one of the best ever players to play for the club.
