Real Madrid head coach José Mourinho made use of the opportunity to aim something of a lighthearted dig at a section of Barcelona’s supporters, in the aftermath of Sunday’s Clásico.
Mourinho is for his part of course fresh off leading his side to a memorable victory over their arch rivals yesterday evening. After making the trip to Catalunya’s capital for a La Liga showdown with Barcelona, Real Madrid battled their way to an eventual 2-1 triumph, courtesy of a Kylian Mbappé brace.
The visitors were afforded a predictably frosty reception by the home crowd in attendance at the Spotify Camp Nou, targeted with boos, jeers and whistles throughout the clash.
