Arsenal and Napoli are keen on Monza's in-form Portuguese striker Gustavo Varela, 21, along with his former club Benfica. Crystal Palace are reluctant to sell 28-year-old Senegal winger Ismaila Sarr in January after holding talks over a new contract.
Sarr wanted to join Liverpool in the summer. Brighton and Croatia defender Luka Vuskovic, 19, continues to draw serious interest from Europe's elite, with Liverpool, Real Madrid and Barcelona joining the chase for the centre-back.
