Arsenal U21s set to return to action against Sunderland
Story updated
The story in brief
29-second readFollowing the lengthy international break, Arsenal U21s are set to return to action on Saturday with a home game against Sunderland. Although they managed to overcome Leyton Orient in the EFL Trophy, David Horseman’s side are still awaiting their first league victory of the campaign.
So far the young Gunners have drawn three and lost one of their four league matches and Horseman will be hoping for greater ruthlessness from his team this time out.
With the first-team also in action on Saturday, Horseman could be without Max Dowman even if he is available after injury, while a decision will also have to be made regarding Marli Salmon.
