From the source
Through the summer, Gerry Cardinale wanted to hire one man to help lead the AC Milan project and he’s now got him. There have been several names linked to Milan and their vacant Head of Football role in recent months, yet one man has always seemed to be the priority: Markus Krösche.
The German didn’t leave Frankfurt in the summer, despite things looking likely at several points, but the American never lost hope. So, with Krösche admitting his desire to move on to a new challenge, Cardinale pushed harder and has now gotten his man.
Talks of a deal being reached soon have been prominent recently, but after the win against Inter, a positive night was made even better by a report from Fabrizio Romano.
