Chelsea have plenty of reasons to keep an eye on Strasbourg’s results, not least because of the progress of several loanees, former players and transfer targets.
Filip Jorgensen, Dario Essugo and Genesis Antwi are all on loan at the Ligue 1 club. Former Chelsea youngsters Deivid Washington and Omari Kellyman joined Strasbourg permanently this summer.
Meanwhile, the Blues’ scouting department will be keeping an eye on which players could make the move from northeastern France to West London. One of Chelsea’s transfer targets caught the eye in Strasbourg’s 5-1 victory over Auxerre on Sunday.
