Three points against Napoli will always make for a better Monday. But now that the excitement of the win has settled a little, there’s quite a bit to unpack about how this game actually played out.

Three points against Napoli will always make for a better Monday. But now that the excitement of the win has settled a little, there’s quite a bit to unpack about how this game actually played out.

This wasn’t exactly a meeting of Serie A heavyweights. It was eighth place against seventh, with two sides still trying to figure out exactly who they are and what they want to be.

A 2-0 win makes things look pretty comfortable on paper, but I don’t think the game itself was quite as straightforward as the scoreline suggests.
