Julian Alvarez set to appoint Rodri’s agent to handle his professional affairs after dismissing long-time representative

Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez has parted ways with long-time agent Fernando Hidalgo after his failed attempt to join Barcelona. The Argentina international has received several proposals since ending his professional relationship with Hidalgo.

He has chosen Pablo Barquero ( Mundo Deportivo ). Barquero represents Barcelona midfielder Rodri. He has reportedly won over Alvarez and his family. An agreement should be formalised soon.

The 26-year-old appreciates Barquero’s experience and discreet approach. He believes the agent can provide the right guidance for the next stage of his career. Former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Javier Pastore, who advises Alvarez’s close friend Enzo Fernandez, was also considered.
