Ever since the summer, when Gerry Cardinale opted for internal solutions instead of hiring a new director, Milan have been linked with several candidates. Markus Krösche has been the most prominent one, but reports suggest that his candidacy has cooled down a bit .
Other names include Jose Boto (Flamengo), Devin Özek (without a club), Tiago Pinto (Bournemouth) and a few more. In other words, Cardinale and Milan have several options to evaluate and it appears they are taking their time.
