The story in brief
5-second readAn exciting English playmaker is coming back to Liverpool.
From the source
One English playmaker is now set to return to Liverpool and Andoni Iraola has what it takes to transform him. If there is one burden on the Spaniard's shoulders, it is the lack of depth in the Reds' squad.
Liverpool have some excellent players. The kind of players coaches love working with. However, the squad depth is far from ideal.
There's a big gap between those excellent players and the not so good ones. The good thing about Iraola is that, unlike his predecessor Arne Slot, who wanted to work with premium talent, Iraola is very open to giving his fringe players opportunities. He's got that confidence to back young players, and it seems like young players are also ready to prove themselves.Just take a look at how impressive Lewis Koumas has been.
