From the source

Anyone hoping for a dramatic reunion between Trent Alexander-Arnold and Liverpool can stop waiting. According to Fabrizio Romano, there is no active move from Anfield to bring the former right-back home, and nothing from his side to suggest he wants to force his way out of Real Madrid either.

The update landed just as Liverpool supporters were still processing the weekend’s defeat to Arsenal, with questions about the right side of the team naturally reviving chatter about the player who left in 2025.

It is not hard to see why the rumours keep surfacing. Liverpool have missed what Alexander-Arnold offered from deep positions at various points since his departure, and Conor Bradley’s ongoing injury issues have only added to the uncertainty around that side of defence.
