The story in brief
24-second readLiverpool appear to have found him - but he won't come cheap.Liverpool lost Mohamed Salah in the summer and completely failed to replace him.
Though, that wasn't for a lack of effort. The Reds went into the window with Yan Diomande as their top target, believing he could simply slot into the team where there was now a void.
However, that developed into two major problems for Liverpool.Firstly, he didn't want to join. Diomande picked Paris Saint-Germain before repeating the trick to reject them and pick Real Madrid.
