Ahead of FC Bayern’s Champions League matchup against Atlético Madrid, there’s good news from the goalkeeping staff. Manuel Neuer is back on the practice field.
Both the captain and Jonas Urbig took part in today’s final training session. This could ease the previously tense situation between the posts. As recently as this past weekend, it was unclear whether FC Bayern would be able to count on both goalkeepers against Atlético.
Neuer had been struggling with foot problems, while Urbig was also nursing an injury following a collision with Carney Chukwuemeka in the classic match against Borussia Dortmund.
