Harry Kane had a rough night in the 2-2 draw against Borussia Dortmund. The newly crowned Ballon d’Or winner squandered several prime scoring opportunities in the Bundesliga classic and, among other things, hit the crossbar on a penalty kick.
After the final whistle, the 33-year-old was self-critical and had strong words for Bayern Munich’s performance. Yet the Munich team certainly had plenty of opportunities to win the top-of-the-table clash.
With an expected goals (xG) value of 4.18 and a total of six big chances, the record champions clearly had the upper hand in terms of scoring opportunities.
