From the source

Manchester City owner Sheikh Mansour has injected another £100 million into the club’s parent company, City Football Group (CFG), according to a report. The investment is seen as a reaffirmation of his commitment to the organisation as the Citizens fight the Premier League after being found guilty of breaching 114 financial rules.

Filings at Companies House show that 11,327,163 new CFG shares were allotted on October 14 and the investment was made through Mansour’s Newton Investment and Development vehicle.

A CFG spokesperson confirmed the transaction, which marginally increases the Abu Dhabi royal’s majority stake in the global football group. The cash injection came just two weeks after Man City were found guilty of more than 100 alleged financial rule breaches following a long Premier League investigation.
