It has now been revealed that Régis Le Bris has been told by Sunderland he has their full support and will continue in the job.
It looked like the writing was on the wall when rock bottom Sunderland were outplayed and outclassed by second bottom Coventry City on Saturday, lucky to only lose 3-1.
The Sky Blues now four points clear of hapless Sunderland. However, Sky Sports report that they have had official confirmation that Régis Le Bris has been informed his job is safe.
