Parma vs Inter: Provedel Return Signals Goalkeeper Rotation
Story updated
The story in brief
30-second readIvan Provedel is reportedly set to make his Inter debut against Parma at San Siro on Saturday, as Cristian Chivu prepares to rotate his goalkeepers across the next two matches.
Football Italia, citing Calciomercato.com, reports that Josep Martinez is expected to rest after starting every competitive match for the Nerazzurri so far this season. The selection is not being presented as a confirmed change in hierarchy.
Provedel arrived from Lazio in the summer for €3 million, giving Chivu an experienced alternative after Inter considered other goalkeeper targets. His expected first appearance follows a move designed to provide cover and competition behind Martinez, whom Inter promoted from last season’s No.
