Tottenham Hotspur may be in danger of losing Lucas Bergvall despite his contract extension in the summer, and they could replace the Swede with a long-term midfield target.
The Sweden international has played less than 150 minutes of Premier League football since putting pen to paper on a new deal with the Lilywhites this summer.
While that is partly down to Bergvall’s injury, he now faces an uphill task displacing Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes from Tottenham’s starting line-up, with the summer signings now starting to deliver consistently for De Zerbi’s side.
