Eddie Howe and Julian Nagelsmann have emerged as frontrunners for the Man Utd job, but the former’s appointment will embarrass Ineos before he even manages a game.
As Michael Carrick is on the brink of being sacked at Man Utd, the attention turns to his potential replacements because Ineos can’t afford another interim spell.
Eddie Howe and Julian Nagelsmann are out of work right now, and have emerged as the strongest contenders for a mid-season arrival. Of those two names, Howe is Premier League-proven, but he’s also someone who will embarrass Ineos before he takes charge of even one game as Man Utd manager.
