Genoa scored with two early counter-attacks and sent Juventus plunging back into crisis mode, as Kingsley Ehizibue and Tommaso Baldanzi punished the sluggish Old Lady.

The injury crisis at Juve showed no signs of calming down, with Kenan Yildiz, Khephren Thuram, Manuel Locatelli, Nico Gonzalez, Zeki Celik, Francisco Conceicao, Jeff Ekhator and Kamil Grabara still out of action.

After two games in a row with two centre-forwards, Nick Woltemade dropped to the bench to bring in Kerim Alajbegovic. Genoa won their last two home fixtures against Fiorentina and Venezia.
