The next Chelsea player in line for new deal after Cole Palmer as Jose Mourinho lurks
Story updated
The story in brief
29-second readAhead of Saturday’s huge 5-1 win over Bournemouth, Chelsea announced a new eight-year contract for star man Cole Palmer, and now the Blues are planning a new deal for another player.
Palmer isn’t the only key player to have put pen to paper in the last few weeks; Joao Pedro signed on the dotted line in August after speculation linked him with Barcelona at the start of the summer window.
Now, England star Palmer has signed a new contract after he laid on a seventh goal involvement on the weekend – already reaching half of last season’s entire amount of goals and assists in a Chelsea shirt.
