The story in brief
23-second readMan Utd manager Michael Carrick says it would be best for all concerned if Man City's appeal is resolved as quickly as possible.
City were last week found guilty by an independent commission of all charges of breaching the Premier League's financial rules and the majority of breaches related to their failure to cooperate with the investigation.
The club have lodged an appeal against the decision, which could result in a points deduction, fines, titles being stripped or even expulsion from the top flight.
