Tottenham want to poach Giuliano Simeone right from under his own father’s nose

Roberto De Zerbi wants to bring Argentina international Giuliano Simeone, who starred at this summer’s World Cup, to Tottenham in January.

De Zerbi has repeatedly spoken about the need for his Spurs players to show character and fight, which is part of the reason why the Tottenham boss was not completely unhappy with Rodrigo Bentancur’s sending off against Man United.

Back in the summer, the Italian even spoke about wanting to create an Argentina-like team spirit at Spurs after watching the South American side fighting for each other in the tournament, and making it all the way to the final.
