Barcelona are staring at an important January transfer window ahead, where the club must secure reinforcements in the defensive unit. The recent injuries to Jules Kounde, Eric Garcia, Xavi Espart and Andreas Christensen have laid bare the club’s lack of depth in the area.
As such, Barcelona are expected to enter the market for a new defender. The club have already been linked with a move for Stuttgart centre-back Finn Jeltsch, while signing a new fullback cannot be ruled out either.
As reported by SPORT, Barcelona president Joan Laporta already has a desired reinforcement in mind, in the form of Pedro Porro. The club have been monitoring the development of the Spanish international for quite some time and were linked with a move for the right-back during the backend of the summer transfer window.
