From the source

Joshua Kimmich has been out of action for Bayern Munich for the past week after the unfortunate passing of his father. Bayern’s number 6 missed out on the 2-2 draw with Arsenal in the Champions League at the Allianz Arena, the 3-1 Bundesliga win at SC Freiburg, and the 6-1 DFB-Pokal win over FC Magdeburg on Wednesday night.

He last featured for Bayern in their 6-1 win over RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga and has taken time since then to be with his family and deal with the emotional strain of what happened with Vincent Kompany in training at the end of last week.

Just two days ahead of the massive clash, Kimmich was spotted arriving at Säbener Straße (via @iMiaSanMia), and he took time with the fans to take pictures, sign autographs, and say hello.
