What Chelsea have told Cole Palmer to do after leaving ground following fan incident
Story updated
The story in brief
31-second readNo one could criticise Cole Palmer for his performance in Chelsea’s 5-1 win against Bournemouth over the weekend. Palmer was unable to get his name on the scoresheet, but the attacking midfielder still had a good game.
He assisted one of the goals and managed to create a few chances. However, what Palmer has been criticised for is an interaction, or rather a lack of interaction, with a young supporter after the match.
A video has emerged of the Englishman walking past and ignoring the young fan and others after making his way out of Stamford Bridge. Palmer has been criticised for it, but it appears that he was only following Chelsea’s safety protocols.
