From the source

Just a few minutes ago, Davide Bartesaghi spoke to the media about AC Milan’s clash against Udinese this evening, commenting on his ‘new’ position. Ruben Amorim has made some very interesting choices for the starting eleven tonight, switching to a 4-4-1-1 formation.

Sankhoun Diawara is listed as the left-back, while Bartesaghi will supposedly have a more advanced role, like a left midfielder. The injury crisis obviously plays a part, with Diego Moreira among others unavailable, but the left flank was also a big weakness against Bournemouth.

Pervis Estupinan didn’t do anywhere near enough, so hopefully Diawara and Bartesaghi combined will do a better job. Speaking to DAZN just a few minutes ago, as transcribed by MilanNews, Bartesaghi shared his thoughts on the game and his ‘new’ role.
