The story in brief
5-second readThe standout right-back is unlikely to retire as a Lilywhite.
From the source
For now, we don't need to sweat about Pedro Porro's future in north London. The club pulled off a masterstroke in the summer, securing the right-back to a contract extension just before his stock soared to an all-time high at the World Cup.
Porro started all but one of Spain's games at the tournament, as Luis de la Fuente's side conquered the soccer world for the second time.
Porro, tied to Tottenham until 2031, starred in Spain's semifinal victory over France and subsequently played a role in Ferran Torres' winner against Argentina. Nico Williams knocked down his back post cross for Ferran to score in extra time.
