MilanNews note that the front page of L’Équipe – the largest sports newspaper in France and one of the most prestigious in the world – published this morning an investigation into the links between Milan and Lille during the time when the former was owned by Elliott.
The connection was even described as ‘ambiguous’ by the paper. The article published by the French daily essentially cited some chats and emails seized by Italy’s Guardia di Finanza, which allegedly showed that Elliott simultaneously managed Milan and Lille between 2020 and 2022.
