Manchester United are sorely missing Casemiro after the Brazilian left the club on a free transfer in the summer. More than Casemiro’s defensive abilities, it’s clear that Michael Carrick relied a lot on his set-piece goalscoring to break open games.
His model professional attitude also kept the dressing room in line, something which Carrick could really use right now as even his captain has staged a mutiny.
The Brazilian took all of that and more to Inter Miami, where he has converted to a new position full-time. The way Casemiro ended his tenure at Old Trafford, most Man Utd fans expected that he would continue to do well, especially at a lower level of football.
