Antonio Conte open to Man United move as pressure mounts on Michael Carrick
Story updated
The story in brief
30-second readAntonio Conte would be willing to take charge of Manchester United if the club sacks Michael Carrick, talkSPORT reports. United are going through one of the worst starts in their history after collecting just six points from their opening six Premier League games and sit 13th in the table.
The Red Devils have won just one of their last seven games in all competitions and are currently going through a five-match winless streak (D2, L3).
Their recent form has only added pressure on Carrick. United were held to a 1-1 draw by Tottenham Hotspur despite leading and having a numerical advantage, before losing 2-0 to Atletico Madrid in the Champions League.
