Bischof has good reason to feel more optimistic. After putting together a string of good performances, the 20-year-old is enjoying his football and making a case for a bigger role under the coaching staff.

However, Bischof knows that earning minutes against Dortmund is ultimately out of his hands. Asked what gives him hope of playing more this time, Bischof explained that the consistency of his performance could help bolster his case.
