Joao Pedro names the Chelsea youngster that is ‘better’ than he was at 18

The story in brief
29-second readIt is a difficult argument to make that there has been a better Chelsea player this season than Joao Pedro. Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers might have some evidence, but Pedro has been sensational.
Already, the striker has five goals and three assists for Chelsea in five Premier League games. He is averaging a goal or an assist every 54 minutes, while Erling Haaland, by contrast , is averaging 88 minutes.
Palmer and Rogers have been excellent behind him in attacking midfield, but everything Pedro seems to touch is turning to gold at the moment. He has a total of 40 goals and assists in 59 Chelsea appearances.
