The story in brief
33-second readMario Gila has revealed that he felt emotional after scoring his first goal for AC Milan in the 3-2 win over Atalanta. Milan got into a commanding three-goal lead inside the opening hour of the game, with Goncalo Ramos scoring a penalty, Adrien Rabiot netting his fourth of the season and Gila heading in.
It was his first for the club since arriving, and his celebration showed how much it meant. The Rossoneri nearly threw away their good work though as Atalanta finished the game very strongly.
Gianluca Gaetano gave them some hope, which multiplied when Nikola Krstovic scored a second for La Dea with nine minutes left. They had late chances, but ultimately Milan hung on to win 3-2.
