The story in brief
29-second readSaturday was an excellent day for Chelsea, and not just because they were able to thrash Bournemouth 5-1 at home. Before the game, they were able to announce that Cole Palmer has signed a new contract all the way up until 2034.
It is great news, with the attacking midfielder being their best player. Since then, Palmer has been discussing some of his favourite moments as a Chelsea player.
It includes Chelsea’s 4-3 win over Manchester United in the 2023/24 season, which left the 24-year-old so pumped that he could not sleep! There were some rumours last season about Palmer being unsettled and unhappy at Chelsea.
