Chelsea midfielder Valentin Barco has been left impressed by Tottenham-linked Boca Juniors star Leonel Flores. Tottenham Hotspur have every reason to be quietly optimistic about the future, given the youngsters they have coming through their ranks.
Luca Williams-Barnett is perhaps the pick of the bunch, with the teenager’s Premier League debut leaving Tottenham fans and rival supporters alike impressed. Steven Gerrard was full of praise and is convinced the youngster is set to become the next big thing in football.
He said: “I loved one moment from the game. Williams-Barnett is a name I’ve heard mentioned to me through the England ranks a few times.
