Espart started again at right-back for Hansi Flick’s side but picked up a knock early on after a challenge by Aurélien Tchouaméni and was replaced by Alejandro Balde.
The news is another blow for Barcelona at a time when they are already without Eric Garcia, Andreas Christensen and Jules Kounde due to injury.
