From the source

Bayern Munich delivered a strong 2-0 win against Atlético Madrid, courtesy of another brilliant performance by Dayot Upamecano across the pitch. Speaking post-game, interim head coach Aaron Danks had nothing but praise for the French defender, highlighting his attitude and approach.

“I think Upamecano’s performances have been underrated for a long time. What he brings to the team, in terms of his character and personality, is fantastic.

I think he’s a really difficult defender to play against. I see every day in training, where we have top attackers going up against him, and he’s in the duels and the battles with them every single day, so when it comes to the match days, he’s no different,” said Danks (as captured via @iMiaSanMia).
