From the source

Nicolo Tresoldi is a wanted man, with Arsenal eyeing a January move for him as Viktor Gyokeres continues to struggle in front of goal. For a top team such as the Gunners, they need a striker they can rely on, but their goals have been spread around the team because Gyokeres cannot score and Kai Havertz is not consistent enough.

The Gunners trust both players, but trust alone is not enough to stop Mikel Arteta from signing a replacement. The Arsenal manager will sanction the signing of another frontman if he believes that player would represent an upgrade on the current options available to him.

That should serve as an important warning sign for Gyokeres, although he may remain relevant until the end of the season. A summer move could also benefit Tresoldi himself.
