‘Pérez League’ – Barcelona fans hit back at Real Madrid amid Sevilla controversy

The story in brief

32-second read

Supporters of La Liga champions Barcelona have on Sunday made use of the opportunity to fire back at their Real Madrid counterparts. This comes amid another controversy-filled 24 hours on the officiating front in Spain’s top-flight.

After Barcelona saw a couple of high-profile decisions go in their favour during a meeting with Real Betis on Saturday night, those of a Real Madrid persuasion quickly made their anger known, amid fresh calls of a ‘Negreira League’.

Afforded the chance to hit back on Sunday, Barcelona’s fanbase therefore showcased little hesitation in airing their own grievances. José Mourinho’s Real are currently locked in action on the La Liga front, on track for all three points at the expense of Sevilla.
