Match Preview: Dortmund Back in League Play as They Travel to Union Berlin

Story updated

The story in brief

37-second read

Borussia Dortmund are back in Bundesliga action as they travel to Berlin on Saturday. It’s been a rough week-long stretch for Die Schwarzgelben. First, squandering a two goal lead to Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga last week, followed by a grueling mid-week Champions League defeat in Norway at the hands of Bodø/Glimt.

Needless to say, BVB will look to get back on track, sitting in second place in the league due to goal differential with Freiburg. Union Berlin on the other hand have had a torrid start to the season, sitting at 16th in the league.

They’ve allowed the second most goals (17) in the league so far this campaign. They did however pick up three points last week after their first win in this year’s Bundesliga campaign, with a 1-0 victory over Elversberg.
