Juventus director Giovanni Carnevali delivered a stern dressing-room speech on Thursday, following a 2-0 loss to Genoa, while coach Luciano Spalletti has called the squad into a training retreat ahead of their next match against Napoli.
Juventus CEO Carnevali confronted the team on Thursday, the day after a 2-0 Serie A loss to Genoa. Sky Sport and Gazzetta report that Carnevali addressed the players in a harsh speech this morning, after gathering the squad at the club’s training ground.
The Bianconeri have already lost three of nine Serie A games and sit 11 points behind table leaders Inter and Lazio. Juventus will host Napoli at the Allianz Stadium in Turin next Sunday and, according to Gazzetta and Sky, the Bianconeri will prepare for the match at a training retreat at Continassa.
