The story in brief

32-second read

David Eze has made his first appearance for Manchester United’s U18s in a 2-2 draw against Chelsea. At the end of September, Manchester United announced a deal to sign David Eze , a 16-year-old who had impressed in Man City’s academy and England U17s.

He has since been familiarising himself with his new surroundings. Eze followed Karim Cassim by leaving City for a brighter future at United, with both central midfielders giving the Reds more quality and depth in a crucial department.

United spent over £150m on new midfielders for the first team in the summer. Now that Eze a United player, it’s the start of a journey that will hopefully see him become a graduate one day.
